Boobinha Q & A: #1



Today, I wanted to share with you some questions sent to me by Boobinha A! I'm sure there are plenty of you out there in a similar situation, which directly affects your "thick waist and thighs but tiny boobs" problem. I certainly was one of them until a few years ago!



Q: ...my boobs are really small. Read your blog and you said to include lots of protein in the diet. What would you recommend for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Usually for breakfast I'll have toast, or some junk food lying around. How should I change my diet? And does adding protein in my diet mean gaining weight?


Ideally, you would want to add a good source of protein (meat, fish, dairy products, beans, tofu) in your meals to add up to at least 46g of protein per day. Having said this, this is just a general recommended value to sustaining your health. If you're a very active person, you need much more than this.

Your boobs will not start growing unless your intake of protein exceeds the minimum amount your body requires to sustain itself.

Will adding protein increase your weight? Maybe, but in a good way.

First of all, if you are currently under-eating without your knowledge or in your effort to stay thin (don't ever do this!), and you start eating more by adding extra protein, then yes, you will gain weight. The important point to remember is that the weight gain from extra protein is not the same as gaining weight by eating lots of junk food.

Secondly, each gram of protein contains 4 calories, while each gram of fat contains 9 calories. If you eat protein-rich food items instead of the empty-calorie food items (junk food), you will actually lose weight while simultaneously growing breasts.

If you add more protein to all the junk food you eat, you will definitely gain weight. Your breasts will still grow though. This is what happened to me initially, 4 years ago, until I gained 12 lbs (5.4 kg) and I started cutting back on junk food. :)


So how should you change your diet?


I love this combination! :) But this is not it. :P

You need to eat REAL food instead of junk food.


I get it, you feel full by eating a bit of junk food, so you can get through the day without eating substantial meals. I've been there, done that.


If you want your boobs to grow, your body needs nutrition. Junk food will not give you any nutrition that your body or growing boobs require. It will give you lots of fat that we all worry about around our waists and thighs though!


This doesn't mean you can't eat junk food. Eat meals first, then eat junk food if you still feel like it.

Every time you skip a meal and reach for those empty-calorie foods, remember that you're just packing more fat around your waist and thighs while turning away from the opportunity to growing bigger breasts!
